Swiss PTT Postauto bus, early 1960s

This features a FBW Alpenwagen with "Panoramascheiben" (panoranic top panes). FBW in Wetzikon, Switzerland, was one of the two big Swiss commercial vehicle manufacturers, the other Saurer in Arbon. The initials "FBW" signified nothing more than Franz Brozincevic Wetzikon, the name of the founder and the town in which the enterprise was based.

Railway enthusiasts will be familiar with both the Furka and Brig placenames.
