Both Montreal and Québec City had a small number of open-air streetcars "chars observatoires" that were specially built for sightseeing with a tiered seating arrangement. Three of the four Montreal cars have been preserved: one each at the Seashore Trolley Museum in Kennebunkport, Maine, the Connecticut Trolley Museum in Warehouse Point, Connecticut, and at the Canadian Railway Museum in Delson-St. Constant, Quebec.
