These railcars from 1923 with their roof mounted radiators (visible at the far end of the one in front) were one of the great all-time classic items of Australian railway equipment; a total of 37 were built. Here a pair sandwich an "ordinary" passenger car at Loftus south of Sydney, early 1960s(?). More pics here
