A Norm Daniel photo of a northbound picnic train comprising three articulated "grassgrub" carriage sets approaching the station area in the southern Hawke's Bay town of Waipukurau in 1980. The "grassgrubs" were former Fiat railcars stripped of motors and controls and were used between 1977 and 1984.
