old mining railway scene at Braunesumpf
This was a station on the former Halberstadt-Blankenburg Railway (HBE) in the Harz mountains of central Germany until 2006. The nearest town is Hüttenrode. It appears the mining operation (the branch track on the left) and its line closed in 1969.
