Italian 2-6-2


A rebuilt class 680, now a 685, on the turntable at Cassino. (see earlier post)
A total of 271 (plus 120 rebuilds of the 680 class) were produced of the 685 class between 1912 and 1928. The last unit was withdrawn in 1975. Five are preserved.
