Vulcan diesel in Sudan, 1964
A 1000 class, 1850 hp Co-Co type diesel-electric, 3'6" (1067 mm) gauge, built in 1960 by the Vulcan Foundry, UK, seen at Khartoum. There is a 1:24 scale model of it in the National Railway Museum in York.
