This particular example may not be 1938 but that is when the 202 appeared. Peugeot made 2-door and 4-door cars that all used the same frame, engine, drivetrain and owered by an engine that was around 1200cc with a 3-speed transmission. It wasn't designed to go fast or haul heavy loads, but it could haul more than it looked. (pic via Bob Kauffman)
