'The Girl on the Train' movie filming locations

Any movie involving trains gets our attention, so a couple of us went to a local cinema to see this.  Well, it involves a commuter train, but the Metro North Hudson line is quite picturesque and the movie makes the most of that. It's set probably in late October, without looking overly pretty, which wouldn't quite fit the noir nature of it.

External moving trains are real, interior scenes were filmed on a restored car on a movie set. Enough to interest the rail enthusiast?  Probably not, but worth watching anyway.
