trams on the Pont de la Canche, Etaples, France

The tramway Etaples - Paris-Plage was a 6.4 km long, metre gauge line electrified at 600 Volts DC, which lasted from 1900 to the destruction caused by the German invasion of May-June 1940.

The motor fleet consisted of "motrices classiques" constructed by SACM-Thomson-Houston on two-axles built with Brill trucks, with access from end platforms. Current collectors were the then ubiquitous bows attached by brackets to wood poles. Seven cars (numbered 1 to 7) were delivered to the tramway in two series: three in 1900 and four in the rest of the 1900s; the only differences between the series were the number of side windows.

Towed equipment consisted of twelve passenger trailers with two axles (including an unspecified number of open "baladeuse" types) and four baggage cars.
