post-WW2 apartment blocks, French style

Having mentioned Angouleme station here are two pics looking the opposite ways across the road from the Gare d'Orléans.  More thought went into them than the ugly Plattenbau blocks of Eastern Europe (see earlier posts), but not a whole lot.
