Fontainebleau electric trams, France

The metre gauge tram system of Fontainebleau, in Seine-et-Marne to the south-east of Paris, was inaugurated on 29 September 1896 and ended on 31 December 1953.  The system reached 12 km with 3 lines.

The intial 8 powered cars were equipped with 2 motors each of 25 hp.  They could transport 37 passengers, of which 21 seated, 7 in première classe and 14 in seconde classe (you wonder what the difference was).  Another 11 powered cars arrived at different times, of which some were to replace older ones sold. In addition there were 10 trailer cars, of which 2 were preserved.
