Bialystok station Poland

The Polish city of Bialystok was included in Stalin's land grab of 1939, but it was the one city which the Poles managed to get reincorporated into Poland in 1945, unlike the rest of the former eastern half of Poland. But the modern border with Belarus isn't far to the east.

The photos show trains at the railway station, the Dworzec PKP Białystok, to give it the proper title.

The first is from 1915 showing an express arriving from Berlin and the next three by Geoff Churchman are from 2007. The old steam train is in the courtyard and serves as a snackbar.
