Mack truck 'road train', Western Australia, 1970s

With a single decker livestock container front and back and a double decker in the middle.  These huge 'road trains' are a standard feature of outback Australia where it wasn't economic to build railways.  They are disconcerting to experience as a motorist.

Carnarvon is on the coast and one of the most westerly towns in Australia.

Nothing to do with transport, but Carnarvon was the place where ex-All Black Keith Murdoch died in 2018, aged 74.
