"The line runs through a multitude of tunnels and galleries, across many bridges and continuously climbs towards Kolasin. To overcome the high altitude difference at a short distance, a serpentine was made in the canyon of Mala Rijeka river. On that part the line crossing over the highest railway bridge in Europe. Mala Rijeka bridge has a height of 200 metres from river to track. On one part of the railway there is a tunnel Trebesica with a bridge built in it. During the digging of the tunnel mountain cleavages have encountered. This part of track had to be bridged.
"After Trebesica tunnel there is a continental climate and a different flora and fauna. The line highest point is located in the tunnel, near Kolašin. After Kolašin the line descends towards Bijelo Polje.
"The whole Belgrade - Bar railway line has 254 tunnels and 234 bridges. There are 102 tunnels and 96 bridges in Montenegro.
