1951 Vauxhall Velox LIP


This model had a 2.275 litre straight-six-cylinder engine.  This example, seen outside an automotive repair shop in Foxton and obviously used as an advertising ornament, would have been assembled in Petone.

I was sure that engine in the LIP would have been around 1800cc
The later one EIP had a 2300 CC engine, and the first PAs had 2200 approx

Vauxhall Velox is a six cylinder car made by Vauxhall Motors , Luton , UK. I am still using the same car in India purchased in 1950 by my Dad. I think SM 3719 car is in Canada.The car looks nice .

I have the same car in India purchased fro GM Motors India in 1950 by my Dad.I am still using the car on roads in Thrissur, Kerala, India.The car is very good to drive and good pick up and also very good car for hill stations .
