Seen in the Rue Jeanne-d'Arc with the spire of the église (church) Notre Dame de la Gare in the distance. Most of the buildings in this street have since been replaced although the church is still there. The whole area is called the Quartier de la Gare, maybe after the Gare d'Austerlitz which is about 1 km to the left of the photographer.
