once upon a time at the Avondale P&T Office

A pic from the late 1890s in what looks like a station in the bush, but now suburban Auckland. The Post & Telegraph Office was also the railway station.  What looks like one of the two Davidson 0-6-0ST P class tank locos from 1876 is attached to a rake of open top goods wagons. A foot stool looks to be placed for the benefit of the train crew near the loco.
