Built by Henschel and displayed at the Hannover Messe (fair) of that year -- 70 of these Bo-Bo type locomotives, all rated at 1,310 hp, were delivered new to Egypt over 1960-1961.

Nice looking machines, a tad similar to some of the early first generation British types. Interesting how they have glass see through along the engine bay.

They also look like the European Nohabs of the same period.
