A very advanced car for the time, featuring hydraulic brakes, thermostatically controlled radiator shutters, one-step chassis lubrication and a vacuum-operated clutch. It was sad that the Royale, good as it was, could not help Reo's car division survive the Great Depression, with manufacturing ending in 1936.
