ships in Bluff, NZ, 1950s


Among others can be seen the Karu, 1044 grt, 1935-1964, owned by the Union Steam Ship Company, and the Wairua on the right, used as a ferry between Bluff and Stewart Island, built in 1913 by G.T.Niccol of Auckland, 286 grt, broken up in 1959.
