1933 Cadillac touring car as used by Newmans

A pic taken on the Kaikoura Coast which, like Christchurch, has had its physical features somewhat altered by recent seismic activity.

The car is a 1930 Cadillac V16 and is currently in the World of Wearable Arts and Classic Cars Museum in Nelson. I had a short ride in it when it was in Christchurch for the NZ Vintage Car Club's 50th Anniversary Rally in 1996.

Going by the number plate the picture was probably taken in 1933-34. Apparently Jack Newman imported it in 1933.
