Sernftalbahn poster, Switzerland, 1907


This was a metre-gauge, 13.8 km light rail system between Schwanden and Elm in the canton of Glarus powered by 800 Volts DC from overhead that lasted from 1905 to 1969 (even in Switzerland, passenger railways have closed).
