Vauxhalls parked in George Street, Dunedin, 1957

Yes they are Vauxhalls. Six cylinder Veloxes distinguishable from the four cylinder Wyverns by the badge on the front of the bonnet. These are EIP models built from 1952 to '55. The Standard Vanguard Estate behind them is a Phase 1 going from the park light which is separate from the grille. On the left is a Hillman Minx. In the background with its door open looks to be a 1955 or '56 Ford Customline. A Ford Zephyr Mk 1 is driving in the street.
