1960s Barkas B1000 van brochure covers, DDR
The B1000 was powered by the 45 hp
three cylinder, two stroke DKW derived engine found also in Wartburg cars. Part of IFA, these were made in Karl Marx Stadt and were a common sight in the DDR.
