Pictures obviously of the original viaduct and not the steel and concrete viaduct there now, built in the early 1930s. A tram from Karori is seen underneath the viaduct in the second pic, but oddly no tram line along Upland Road to connect with the Cable Car terminus in Kelburn was ever built.
