tram on the Ludwigsbrücke, Munich

A postcard, probably pre-WW1, showing part of one of the two bridges which form the Ludwigsbrücke over the Isar in Münich: it consists of two bridges, one after the other, connecting the Museumsinsel (museum island). The total lengths are 77 metres and 71 metres, and they are 29 metres wide. The present bridges were built anew in 1934-35 and still carry two Strassenbahn (tram) lines in addition to road traffic lanes.
