early minibus of the Chemin de fer de Paris à Orléans

A group photo, including the cleaner, around a minibus of the Chemin de fer de Paris à Orléans (PO) seen outside the Gare de Paris-Austerlitz, its terminal station in Paris. The guys on the roof look happy.

The PO was formed in 1838, went on to build a network of some 12,000 km, merged with the Midi in 1934, which in turn was nationalised along with the other French railways to form the SNCF at the beginning of 1938.
