Bulgarian Airlines Tupolev TU-154

A Soviet card/stamp issued in 1973 to mark the 50th anniversary of Aeroflot, although the aircraft is in Balkan Airlines livery. The 3-engine Tupolev TU-154, in some respects the Soviet equivalent of the Boeing 727, was first flown on 4 October 1968 but not introduced to Aeroflot until 7 February 1972. It was a major Soviet aircraft of the 1970s-1990s, with 1025 built.
