British Airways Lockheed 10A Electra, mid-1930s


This was one of the six Electra 10A's operated by British Airways Ltd (not to be confused with the present-day British Airways) from 1935 to 1939 when they were requisitioned for military use.  Before then they were used mainly on the London to Berlin, Copenhagen and Stockholm routes.
