new Vectron electric locomotives for Denmark's DSB

Siemens will deliver a minimum of 26 electric locomotives, which will be commissioned from 2021 onward. Tenders were called in 2016.

Vectron is built by Siemens Mobility, introduced in 2010 as both a diesel and electric locomotive. The series has been sold to Germany, Poland and Finland.
Voltage/Frequency: 25 kV 50 Hz (Denmark main lines) and 15 kV 16.7 Hz (Germany and Swedish systems)
Power supply for wagons: 1500 V 50 Hz and 1000 V 16.7 Hz
Starting tractive effort: 320 kN

Maximum power: 6,400 kW (traction and electric brake)
Maximum speed: 200 km/h
