a pair of Western Maryland F7's with a coal train, 1974


The railroad's initials were WM, popularly termed the 'Wild Mary' and now belongs to history.  A little of it survives in the CSX system and there is the Western Maryland Scenic Railroad.  This was taken near Little Orleans, Maryland, a nicely situated place by the Potomac River.
