1961 Ford Galaxie - Avis Rent-a-Car


While Hertz featured GM cars (see earlier post) Avis presented Fords.  This is a 1961 Ford Galaxie (Club Victoria?).

    I actually remember the ad in the US - here we called that model the Galaxy. It was available as the Galaxy 500 and the Galaxy 500XL.
