A Mike Jeffries painting of a Scammell Routeman II in the colourful livery of Smiths of Maddiston passing through Gloucester heading south with a load from north of the border. They were typically powered by a derated Leyland Power Plus O.680 diesel engine (producing around 185–200 b.h.p.) or the Leyland O.600.
Top work , Mikes transport paintings were an inspiration for me, this one is well done in the way light has been handled plus the memories.
