super big oil tanker 'Genmar Victory'


Genmar Victory has one of the largest widths among oil tankers with a beam of 70 meters. It is a crude oil tanker built in June 2001 by Hyundai Heavy Industries Co. Ltd. in Ulsan, South Korea. It is 333.50 meters in length, 70 meters in width, with a depth of 25.60 meters, and a draft of 19 meters. The vessel has a deadweight tonnage (DWT) of 312,638 tons and a gross tonnage (GT) of 163,761 tons. It is powered by two MAN-B&W 7S60MC-C MkVII engines, providing a combined power of 32,063 kW, enabling a service speed of 14 knots.

The Genmar Victory sails under the flag of Bermuda with the call sign ZCDF3. It was originally named Stena Victory before being renamed following the merger of Arlington Tankers and General Maritime in 2009. The vessel's ownership is registered to Victory Ltd., New York, and it is managed by General Maritime Management LLC, New York. The vessel is classified under the American Bureau of Shipping.
