Wairarapa passenger train and a Leyland Comet school bus art

In the late 1970's/early 1980's the bus waits to cross the line on its way to Mauriceville with the afternoon school run as painted by Wallace Trickett.

The train (headed by a DBR and from the green colour a 'Grassgrub' in tow) working to Palmerston North from Masterton ex Wellington would be running quite late to have met the school service here, however, it was an opportunity to create an interesting scene.
