It looks like there are stars of David on the upper right backs of the coats of the group on the left, so the destination was probably a concentration camp.

  1. No, not a concentration camp (Konzentrationslager), but an extermination camp (Vernichtungslager). There was a definite difference in name and purpose, although the SS certainly enjoyed working concentration camp inmates to death too. ---FR in SC
