A metre-gauge Trans-Andean electric locomotive 101 at Los Andes in 1978. There were three of these rack and adhesion electrics, numbers 101 - 103, built by the Swiss SLM (works numbers 3069 - 3071) in 1925. The current supply was 3,000 Volts DC. (SBB Historic) (See earlier post)
