If it looks like a 1950s product of English Electric, it is. This example was the last in a series of 7 units built 1954-1955, a Co-Co type for 1.5 kV DC from overhead and for the Indian 5'6" broad gauge. All were withdrawn by 2000, one is preserved. Output at the 1 hour rating was 3,700 hp (2,760 kW) and continuous was 3,170 hp (2,360 kW).
