inter-island ferry 'Rangatira'


This commissioned oil painting by Wallace Trickett scene shows the Rangatira, built by Vickers Armstrongs in 1931, of the Union Steam Ship Company of New Zealand, arriving into Wellington from Lyttelton; the USSCo tugboat Tioma is heading out to assist the Captain Cook following.
