The car is a 1934 Cadillac 355D V8. It is not a La Salle which was a subsidiary GM brand to Cadillac. Le Salle is a spelling mistake. There is a lot of confusion in the community...
I agree with the previous comment. In the few years before 1934 the LaSalle was a similar looking car to the Cadillac but for 1934 it was entirely different, using an Oldsmobile-based side valve straight eight engine and more art deco type styling.
