Tanzania-Zambia Railway stamps

The railway, operated by the Tanzania-Zambia Railway Authority (TAZARA), also called the Uhuru Railway or the Tanzam Railway, links the port of Dar es Salaam in east Tanzania with the town of Kapiri Mposhi in Zambia's Central Province. The single-track line was opened n 1975, in cape gauge (1,067 mm - 3'6")  and is 1,860 km (1,160 miles) long.

The loco in the lower right pic is a DFH class from the time the line was opened, Chinese built, now withdrawn.
