Passchendaele on the Otaki River


As those have have our books know, the NZR's locomotive Ab 608 was named that to honour those NZ soldiers killed in the awful WW1 battle in Belgium, and is today preserved operational (see earlier posts).

This is a 100 cm x 50 cm oil on canvas painting by Wallace Trickett and is for sale.
