Egypt responds to attack on Sufi mosque

Armed militants stormed the al-Rawda mosque after the conclusion of Friday prayers on November 24, killing 305, and injuring at least another 128.

Egypt’s army and police forces carried out air strikes and ground operations in surrounding areas of the al-Rawda mosque on Friday night, targeting militants believed to have been involved in the attack.

The Islamic State's adherents consider Sufi Muslims, like Shiite Muslims, to be heretics and so, in their depraved minds, deserve to be eliminated like anyone who doesn't subscribe to the IS ideology.
