It's easy to to understand why Egypt has led the move for sanctions against Qatar including having its Al Jazeera news channel shuttered.
The movie has also been banned in Lebanon and Tunisia, presumably for the same reason, although it is screening in Egypt, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Oman and Bahrain, perhaps others too.
