Rio Grande Alco PA in the Royal Gorge, Colorado


A scene from the 1960s.  We did this excursion trip last year (see the earlier post) but don't recall this particular spot.  It's obviously in the area of where the gorge is at the narrowest.

    Photo is taken from the footbridge over the line at the famous Hanging Bridge, you can ride down on a Funicular.
