Road switcher number 200 of Chicago and Eastern Illinois. This was one of two EMD BL2 units that the road bought.
It was the predecessor the GP series, a Bo-Bo type powered by a EMD 567B V16 prime mover rated at 1500 hp, of which 59 were built between September 1947 – May 1949. As can be seen, the body shape was something of a half way step between the E & F type and the GP/SD.
