This company was created in Vevey in 1901 and lasted a century when it was merged with the company Transports Montreux-Vevey-Riviera. It operated a metre-gauge 10.5 km-long system powered from overhead at 900 Volts DC and the cogwheel fitted locomotive was one of two delivered in 1911 and 1913, They were scrapped in 1984.
