Naumburg electric trams, Germany

Number 17 is the oldest tram, dating from 1928, in Naumburg since 1978

Steam trams ran here between 1892 and 1902, since that time a metre-gauge 2.5 km ring-type circuit has operated around the city (although not continuously), the smallest tram system in Germany and one of the smallest in Europe, and since DDR times has often been called the Wilde Zicke (wild goat, bitch).
