1936 Mercedes Benz 500-K Spezial-Roadster model

A 1:18 scale model we have as a table piece.  According to this webpage, a real one (with the slightly larger 5.4 litre engine) sold for $11.77 million at auction in Pebble Beach, California, in 2012: bank executive stuff.
